On July 9, 2025, I was handed these papers. Front and back.
A "Notice to an Accused" about language rights under Section 530. A court reminder for future dates.
The question you can't answer:
Why give me a "Language of the Accused" card for Indigenous people in Nunavut when I speak perfect English?
000573 — the code for a judge who can be BOTH a regular judge AND a Superior Court judge. The only place in Canada where that's possible? Nunavut.
And Judge Basilko and Christina Cranes told me MULTIPLE TIMES on recording: "Don't miss that date, October 23rd."
